You can log in to e-Devlet (turkiye.gov.tr) not only with a password but also with your e-signature. It's handy if you've forgotten your e-Devlet password or want a more secure login.
What you need
- A valid e-signature and your token
- A computer with the token driver installed
- The e-Devlet Kapısı e-İmza application (downloaded from the e-Devlet login page)
Step-by-step login
- Plug your token into the computer.
- Open the login page on turkiye.gov.tr and choose Elektronik İmza (electronic signature) as the login method.
- If you haven't already, download the e-Devlet Kapısı e-İmza application from the link on that page. You only need to do this once.
- Open the e-signature application on your desktop and enter the transaction code shown on the e-Devlet screen.
- Select your certificate, enter your PIN and complete the signing. You'll be logged in automatically.
Tip: the transaction code is only valid for a short time. Make sure the app is open and the token is plugged in before you enter it.
Common errors
- The app doesn't see the token: the driver may be missing, or try another USB port.
- PIN not accepted: the PIN locks after several wrong attempts. Stop and contact us before trying again.
